Athens will host the next Eurovision song contest of 2006 .
38 countries will participate in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, . Armenia joins the contest , while Austria and Hungary will not .
The semifinal (24 countries) on 18th May;

The following 10 countries already qualified for the final on 20th May;

The best 10 songs of the semifinal will qualify for the final.
