Private Universities in Greece ?

The Greek government will allow the creation of Private Universites and Colleges .

A lot of reaction is expected as students and professors of tertiary education are in great opposition. They declared that the government sees the students as clients that should buy the services from these universities-companies . 
Are these reactions compatible with the spirit of the new world ? Read an interesting article

One decision in the direct direction could be : Greek economy cannot provide the requisite funds and should allow universities to charge realistic fees to the students . protests for educational affairs

On the other hand Greeks have realize  that no school is a good school if everyone passes every class, that no university can be of value if it accepts all comers.

The opening up of tertiary education may  lead to the existence of universities and colleges of different speeds,  some of them producing graduates with no hope of finding jobs.

 

Complementary  to this law is likely to established  for the 1st time a ranking system for the quality of education at universities , recognition of college and university outliers of abroad diplomas as bachellors.
