Catholic compared to Orthodox saints

It is very interesting to see how Catholic church proclaims saints . this article is about a bishop that someone praid and his ill small baby when it came to life and afterwards became well . "A series of complications occurred at the time of birth, and the manner in which the complications and problems converged at one time, and the way they were relieved, were considered by many people to be extraordinary," said the Rev. It was one  miracle  reported by only   one person  . In this article it is reported the typical proccess of becoming a sant in Catholic Church . "The granting of the title "servant of God" is the prelude to the three-stage canonization process by which a candidate may be declared venerable, then proclaimed blessed and canonized a saint. For candidates who are not martyrs, a miracle certified as due to their intercession is required by canon law to be beatified. A second miracle, after beatification, is then required for canonization" .In catholic church only 2 miracles are needed and an approval from the Pope .

In Orthodox church for someone to be proclaimed as a saint is much more complicated . After burrial a translation of relics will take place after some years . This is a mind checkup for the will of the God .If the remains are yellow and aromatized and/or  the relic hasn't been melt but it is in very good shape that is a sign that this human probably was a saint . Additionally to that a lot of miracles are needed reported when the saint was alive but also after he died . If there are many  reports on the miracles that this saint has done then the bishop will  start the typical proccess of proclaiming a saint by the ecclesia . In the Orthodox church there must be signs of the God that this was a saint . A recent event about a probable saint in Greece was reported recently  . Another probable saint very well known among Greeks was the priest Paisios (+1994) with a lot of hundreds of miracles when he was alive and after he died . He lived and died in the holly mountain Athos .A TV film was dedicated to him. Download it here .   Greek Orthodox  priest - monk Paisios probably Saint
